We live in a world full of messaging. Whether on television, radio or social media, we are bombarded with countless messages on a daily basis. And these messages are here today and gone tomorrow. A topic may trend on social media for a few hours until the next hot topic comes along. A song will hit the top of the charts, but the artist may be quickly forgotten when the next big song is released. God’s Word is different. It is the eternal gospel. The Word never changes. It is not here today and gone tomorrow. In this ever-changing world, God calls on us to stand firm on his Word and to put it first in our lives.
