Mrs. Jenny Raasch grew up in Inver Grove Heights, MN, and graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.
Jenny has taught at Lutheran schools in California, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. In addition to experience in teaching toddlers and preschoolers, she has also taught either part-time or full-time in every level of elementary school. Her various extra duties have included forensics and basketball coaching.
Jenny’s goal for her students is that they view school as a positive place to be–a place where our Savior’s love is reflected in the way students and teachers interact with each other. One of her favorite passages as she thinks of her students and her own children is Isaiah 40:11 “He (Jesus) tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.”
Jenny and her husband, Joel, have a son and a daughter in college. Jenny enjoys activities like reading, playing the piano, and spending time with her family.
