COLLIN VANDERHOOF
Rev. Vanderhoof is one of our two Pastors at Pilgrim. He grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and has lived in Wisconsin, Kentucky, Idaho, and Minnesota.
Rev. Vanderhoof attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School and graduated from Martin Luther College. He received his Masters from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. 2023-24 is Rev. Vanderhoof’s 19th year of preaching, and his 4th year at Pilgrim. He loves to teach Catechism to the students in grades 5-8.
Rev. Vanderhoof is married to his bubbly wife Tiffany and they have three kids Noah, Micah, and Grace. In his spare time he enjoys playing softball, basketball, volleyball, board games with family and reading.
Pastor Aaron Winkelman joined the staff at Pilgrim in 2023 and has been in pastoral ministry since 2005.
Pastor is married to his wonderful wife Laura and together they are parents to eight kids: Ethan, Rebekah, Gabriel, Charis, Alex, Micaiah, Mae, and Nevaeh. He says that he can only keep up with their busy schedules thanks to Laura’s exceptional organizational skills and a color-coded Google calendar.
In any spare time Pastor Winkelman enjoys Wisconsin sports (especially Packers football), hiking, cooking, dining out, sampling craft beer, and living room karaoke competitions with his wife Laura. Card, dice, and board games are also popular activities with the family.
He gives all glory to God for mentors in his early life and faithful friends who have seen him through life’s difficulties and partnered with him in ministry. Pastor and Laura are thrilled to be at Pilgrim and are eager to connect with the church family and those in the community who need Jesus. He would love to meet you!
AMANDA BERG
Mrs. Berg is the Director Pilgrim’s Early Childhood Program and also our Lead 4K Teacher. She grew up in a few places including Denver, Milwaukee, and Lake Mills.
Mrs. Berg attended Lakeside Lutheran High School and graduated from Martin Luther College. She also obtained her Coaching and Mentor Certification from Martin Luther College, and is starting on her Master’s this fall. She has taught lower grades everywhere she has lived. 2024-25 is Mrs. Berg’s 23rd year of teaching, and her 1st year at Pilgrim! Her favorite subjects to teach are Bible Time and Music.
Mrs. Berg is married to her husband Rev. Dr. Michael Berg and they have been blessed with three daughters, Abigail, Noelle, and Sophia. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading historical fiction (especially WWII era), and spending time with family and friends.
TIFFANY VANDERHOOF
Mrs. Vanderhoof is Pilgrim’s Lead 3K Teacher. She grew up in West Bend, WI and has lived in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Georgia.
Mrs. Vanderhoof attended Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School and graduated from Martin Luther College. 2023-24 is Mrs. Vanderhoof’s 12th year of teaching, and her 4th year at Pilgrim. Besides teaching at Pilgrim she has taught all grades levels, PreK through 8. Her favorite subjects to teach are ALL of them!
Mrs. Vanderhoof is married to her wonderful husband Pastor Collin and they have three kids Noah, Micah, and Grace. In her spare time she enjoys painting, reading and walking their Aussiedoodle Zoey.
MADDIE MAKSIM
Ms. Maksim is the Pilgrim Teacher Aide for 4K. She grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and has always lived in Wisconsin.
Ms. Maksim attended Winnebago Lutheran High School and graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. 2023-24 is Ms. Maksim’s 6th year of being an aide in preschool and her favorite subject to help the students with is reading.
Ms. Maksim has two amazing kids Evelynn and Paxton, and one fun loving dog, Duncan. In her spare time she enjoys anything outdoors especially hiking and paddleboarding, the occasional Netflix binge, watching the kids sporting events and traveling.
DORIAN MEDROW
Mrs. Medrow is the Pilgrim Teacher Aide for 3K. She grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has lived in Wisconsin and Missouri.
Mrs. Medrow attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College. 2023-24 is Mrs. Medrow’s 3rd year of being an aide at Pilgrim and her favorite subject to help the students with is reading.
Mrs. Medrow is married to her husband Matt and together they have four kids, Paige, Hunter, Silas and Rory. In her spare time she enjoys reading, camping and singing in the choir.
