Preschool
About
Pilgrim Preschool provides a developmentally appropriate program that is both age and individually appropriate. Our curriculum supports children’s learning through active involvement in direct, hands-on experiences with people, objects, ideas, and events.
Our preschool program serves children ages 3 (who are self-sufficient in the bathroom) through age 6. Our program is offered 5 days a week, allowing your child the flexibility of attending a minimum of 2 half-days per week, or a maximum of 5 full days per week.
Why Pilgrim Preschool?
Christ-Centered Education
Pilgrim believes that a high-quality, Christ-centered education and curriculum provides them with key skills and beliefs for a child’s entire life. Christ’s love and forgiveness is central to every aspect of our teaching, play, and relationships through how we teach, what we do, and treat each other.
Faculty
With 2 full-time, state licensed teachers and our teaching assistants, Pilgrim has a typical faculty to child ratio of 8:1. Your child will have the attention and focus of our staff, teaching them, guiding their play, and assisting them throughout their time at Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool.
Facility
Our state licensed facility, conveniently located adjacent to Pilgrim Lutheran Elementary School, is completely self-contained.
Our two spacious, connected, 3K & 4K classrooms are arranged in clearly defined interest areas including: Block Play, Creative Art, Dramatic Play, Language and Literacy, Sensory Play, Manipulatives, Movement and Music, Sensory Play, and Worship.
Our wonderful outdoor fenced play area and full size gymnasium provide ample opportunity for development of gross motor skills.
