Attending Pilgrim

Pilgrim Lutheran School is excited to partner with families in providing an education that is built on peace, joy, hope, and faith.

Pilgrim Lutheran Church owns and operates Pilgrim Lutheran School as part of its mission to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). We value the partnership we have with parents in Christ centered education. “Dedicate a child to the way he should go, and even when he becomes old, he will not turn away from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Registration Deposits

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of pre-registration, unless you are applying for a School Choice Program*. This amount will be credited to the tuition fee upon enrollment.

The Board of Education and the Pilgrim Leadership Team have implemented a tuition freeze for the upcoming school year to give families reprieve from the past Covid-19 year, meaning tuition costs are the same as the previous school year. The governing body of Pilgrim Lutheran is willing to discuss further payment options based on need. If this is the case, please speak with Principal Klug prior to registration.

It is the Policy of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School that no member child will be denied a Christian Education on the basis of financial need. If you have a financial need, please contact the principal.

School Choice Information

Pilgrim Lutheran School participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program and the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. Students qualify for one of the programs on the basis of their residency and their family income. Families must prove their residency and their income if they are a first time applicant. Continuing students are not required to provide income documentation. However, they must still apply and provide residency documentation.

All students MUST reapply to the program each year. Apply online at during an open enrollment period. Parental Choice applications are separate from the school registration.

Tuition Assistance: For families who do not qualify for a Choice Program, we encourage you to apply for tuition assistance with Pilgrim & FACTS. Tuition assistance is available to families who need help with tuition, but do not qualify for a School Choice program. Please ask the office for a Pilgrim tuition assistance application. Once that paperwork is turned in you will receive directions on how to apply online with the FACTS website.
