ASHLEY RUSCH
Ms. Rusch is Pilgrim’s Student Services Coordinator for grades K4-8. She grew up in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin and has always lived in and loved Wisconsin.
Ms. Rusch attended Menomonee Falls High School, graduated from UW-Milwaukee, and has completed Graduate work at Cardinal Stritch University. 2024-25 is Ms. Rusch’s 8th year of special education work, and her FIRST year at Pilgrim! Her favorite subject to teach is Reading.
Ms. Rusch will be married to Brian and they have been blessed with a daughter, Brooks. Ms. Rusch loves to spend time with her family and their German Shepherd Captain. In her spare time she enjoys Brewer games, running, and spending time with family and friends.
AMY LYON
Mrs. Lyon is Pilgrim’s Teacher Aide for grades K5-4. She grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin and Stevensville, Michigan. Mrs. Lyon attended Michigan Lutheran High School and graduated from Martin Luther College. She has taught in preschool classrooms and been an aide and substitute teacher. This is her 5th year at Pilgrim and loves helping the teachers and students with all of their subjects!
Mrs. Lyon is married to Greg, a Pastor at Wisconsin Lutheran College. Together they have been blessed with three wonderful children, Samuel, Elliana and Addison. In her spare time she enjoys playing games, traveling and spending time with her family.
ERIN JOHNSON
Erin Johnson is our Office Manager, the keeper of all the details—and the Band-Aids! While she’s new to the position, she’s certainly not new to Pilgrim. If you’ve been around school for a while, you’ve probably seen her volunteering wherever an extra set of hands was needed.
A graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Erin brings a variety of life and work experiences to Pilgrim. Her background includes driving CDL vehicles, coordinating trade shows and logistics, and remodeling homes—giving her a practical, can-do approach to whatever comes her way.
Erin lives in Brookfield with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Will (8th) and Anna (5th), who both attend Pilgrim. Outside of work, she is an avid Milwaukee Bucks fan who enjoys running, playing volleyball, tackling home improvement projects, and spending quality time with family and friends.
ELAINE GLATZEL
Mrs. Glatzel is the Administrative Assistant to the Pastors & Worship Coordinator at Pilgrim. She grew up in Grafton, Wisconsin and lives there again.
2025-26 is Mrs. Glatzel’s 35th year of being a member at Pilgrim and all the while has worked and volunteered in a variety of positions. Her favorite office jobs are working with members and students and of course putting the church bulletins together.
Mrs. Glatzel is happily married to Ben and their four kids all attended Pilgrim – Alyssa, Andy, Eli and Lydia. All of her kids are married now so they have two daughters-in-law and two sons-in-law as well and she and her husband cherish time with their seven grandchildren! In any spare time she can find Mrs. Glatzel enjoys a good cup of coffee and spending time with family and friends.
